Hi there! First of all, thank you for your interest. I'm Maria - a 22-year old girl from Stockholm, Sweden. I'm currently studying to get into a university. I haven't decided to 100% what I want to work with in the future, but I have veterinary in mind and that surely is a lot of work! I've always been very interested in movies and that's one of the reasons, beside Uma Thurman's career itself, that I made this fansite. Other actors whose work I enjoy are Saffron Burrows, Penélope Cruz, Lena Headey, Juliette Lewis, Robert de Niro and Robert Carlyle. Besides watching movies and making fansites am I a sucker for books - I read and write a lot. Some of my favorite authors are Pär Lagerkvist, Dostojevskij, Johanna Nilsson and Kafka.

So why Uma?
I was only 8 years old in 1994 when Pulp Fiction came out and I remember that I really liked Uma and I thought the movie was great. Even though I must say I enjoyed the movie itself more when I got older. I got so hooked with Uma that my family, while renting movies, sometimes would rent a new movie featuring Uma just to make me happy!

So I've been following Uma's career ever since I was around 8 years old and I'm now 22 - that's quite a time! I think Uma is one of the most talented and versatile actresses in the movie businesses ever and I'm always amazed by her performances. Becides her work as an actress I think Uma is one of the few people in the Hollywood area that are still so down to earth and think life is more then just red carpet events. And of course, I consider her one of the most beautiful and inspiring women ever and I always liked that she's half part Swedish just like me. I can't wait to see which great projects the future will bring Ms. Thurman!
