In 2007 it was rumoured that Uma joined the voice cast of Bee Movie. The story is written by Jerry Seinfeld, Barry Marder, Spike Feresten and Andy Robin. Other casts includes Jerry Seinfeld himself, Renée Zellweger, Alan Arkin, Kathy Bates, Oprah Winfrey and Producers co-star Matthew Broderick. It was promoted at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2007 and will open in US cinemas in November.
